My name is Karen Morton and I have been a Podiatrist since graduating from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2007 with a Bsc (Hons) Podiatry. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and a member of The College of Podiatry. I am therefore fully insured and my work meets the highest clinical and professional standards.
The titles Podiatrist and Chiropodist are legally protected, therefore always ensure whoever is looking after your feet is on the HCPC register -
My own personal background was initially in Sports Coaching where I gained qualifications in football, swimming and basketball. I then went on to graduate with a degree in Sports and Exercise Science.
I am fully qualified in reflexology and massage therapy which helps massively when I'm doing my Medi-Pedi's.
Since qualifying as a Podiatrist in 2007 I worked in the NHS, eight of those years was a Specialist Podiatrist for Diabetes.
I absolutely love being a Podiatrist and the joy it gives me when my clients are elated after a treatment gives me job satisfaction like nothing else.
